Born
and raised in Metro Detroit, Michigan, Link Wachler
grew up in the jewelry business. He began working at
his family's jewelry store at the age of 12 and was
selling his own custom designed pieces before he was
able to drive. An artist and designer at heart, Link
went on to win more than 30 national and international
jewelry design competitions. Known for creating custom
pieces ranging in styles from classical, to whimsical,
to contemporary, to inventive, Link's designs are sold
throughout the world. His pieces are worn and enjoyed
by C.E.O.s of international companies, Rock and Roll
hall of famers, movie stars, and television and radio
personalities. An alumnus of the College for Creative
Studies in Detroit, Link was the first American in 20
years to win the Japanese Pearl Jewelry Design Competition.
Link has been married to his wife, Jody, for more than
30 years. Together they have four grown children,
one grandson and one granddaughter.
